Originally from South Africa, I started my yachting career in 1994. I dreamed of traveling the world and meeting new interesting people; for over 10 years, I did just that! I worked my way up to Chief Stewardess on both private and charter yachts until 2006 when I decided to settle down and become shore based with my husband. The opportunity to become a crew agent presented itself and I thought immediately that it was the perfect way to utilize the knowledge gained from years of working on yachts.

I am now the Senior Crew Agent at Bluewater USA (formerly Crew Unlimited), where I have been for over 12 years. My specialty is in assisting the job placement and recruitment of Licensed Captains, Mates, Bosuns, Officers and Engineers; however, I have worked with crew from all departments in my years and I have had the pleasure of guiding many new crew on the right career path. I am very attentive and I listen to what crew are looking for, as well as what clients require in their crew.
