So…the question is asked, which are the best wines for easy drinking that would best suits these occasions? We asked our in house sommelier David Rabaud for his top selection.
1. Rosé Minuty (Rose) – The perfect pink
Let’s start with the easiest first, rosé. Rosé Minuty is pale pink in colour with crystal reflections, this refreshingly light and delicate rose’ pleases most palates. Rosé Munity 281 is the perfect accompaniment for those casual aperitifs and lingering lunches on the aft deck of the yacht.
Nose: Very intense with a beautiful complexity. Fineness of white fruit aromas (peach & melon)
Food and wine pairing: To appreciate this fruity wine, try pairing it with Scallops risotto, grilled Dublin Bay prawns or backed John Dory with fennel.

3. Dom Perignon 2003 – Champagne is always the answer
Dom Pérignon is the most famous Champagne in the world, and for good reason. The bouquet sparkles with delicate fresh violets in a setting of white peaches. The soft delicate flavours continue while the senses are tickled by the most delicate of fine bubbles.
Though this is such a fine delicate wine, the complexity is astounding - Just stunning!
4. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut – Celebrate the moment
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is one of the most popular and recognisable Champagnes throughout the world. With its distinctive yellow label, this renowned Champagne house became a global phenomenon and a continued success story. A Champagne from the fuller-bodied school with flavours of buttered toast, brioche and biscuit. A wonderful celebration Champagne, lush when paired with freshly shucked oysters.
5. MiP Rosé – Our best crowd pleaser
On the French Riviera you don’t need to travel far to find the finest examples of rosé in the world. MIP Rosé is a refreshing, easy-to-drink wine and a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
With a pleasant and powerful bouquet with notes of white flowers and small yellow fruit. This is a wine is the ideal choice as a pre-dinner drink on a summer evening or as an accompaniment to light meals.
