A Maldives yacht charter is to dive into a world of blue lagoons and outrageous sunsets. A parallel universe where every beach looks like a film-set, and each luxury resort tries to outdo the others with their celebrity chefs and overwater spas. While the luxury offering in the Maldives is dazzling, the underwater world is more dazzling still. Sink into the glorious chaos of colour and life, from the glittering, flashing schools of tropical fish to manta rays and whale sharks cruising through the blue. Whether you want to be close to the glamour of the resorts or escape into deserted atolls, a Maldives yacht charter is exactly the ‘reset’ button you need.

When to
charter
Lying outside the hurricane belt, the Maldives is a year-round yacht charter destination. The most popular time to cruise is during the dry ’winter’ season (Nov-Apr), peaking between December and March. These months offer the driest weather, lower humidity, and exceptional water visibility, making them ideal for a superyacht adventure.
Seasons of the
Maldives
While the monsoon season (late Apr-Sept) brings warm downpours, it also triggers a burst of reef life and great surfing swells. September to November, though hot and sometimes stormy, is perfect for spotting manta rays and whale sharks. Each season offers its unique charm in this tropical paradise.

Superyacht marinas in Maldives
Faro Marina by Jalboot is currently the only superyacht marina in the Maldives. It is located in Crossroads Island in South Male atoll, only a 15 minute speedboat ride from Male’s international airport, and accommodates yachts up to 60m. Faro Marina also offers high-end dining and a spa. There is a major superyacht marina and yacht club under development at Zamani Islands resort, also in South Male atoll. It is projected to open in 2026. Superyachts cruising elsewhere in the Maldives will stay at anchor.
