October’s Unique Appeal

When to charter

Thanks to its position outside the hurricane belt, you can happily charter a yacht in the Seychelles year-round. The high season for yacht charters runs November to March, peaking in December and January. This is the hot and rainy season, but showers and storms tend to pass quickly. Expect temperatures in the low 30’s (86-87F), light winds, high humidity, and deliciously balmy seas.

October’s Unique Appeal

October, while outside the peak season, is considered one of the best times to visit the Seychelles. It falls in a window between the trade winds, offering calm weather. Whale shark sightings are most common in October-November, and fishing is excellent. Additionally, turtle hatching season runs from January to March, adding another layer of natural wonder to your trip.
